Google Docs synergizes well with FimFiction.net, and any formatting is copied over, eliminating the need to rework and reformat text after it has been pasted to this site, which you will need to do in order to post anything here. It is also simpler to keep notes and edit matters on an online document as opposed to working with paper. As for taking a writing class, there are most likely thousands of people on this site alone who manage to write without taking a single writing class in their lives. Additionally, if you have not written anything, then there is little point in taking a writing class. You proposed your story to the public seven years ago, surely you have more to show than this.

Cool. Thanks for the advice. I may also take a writing class, or read up on things like that. I was hoping to do it on my own, but it's clear that won't be enough.
