Equestria. An incredible place. A place of friendships and stories, of hope and belief, of life and creation.

Times change, mountains crumble to dust, yet Equestria stood tall even against the passing of time. It may have lost much, or changed beyond memory, but the heart was never touched, never once even grazed by tyrant or hero alike.

This is the tale of the two wayward 'long way around' time travelers that meet right on the precipice of the final beginning to share some final words before they go.

Hello everyone I don't know English well, and to be honest, I use a translator. So let's get to the most important thing, this is not my story and I am not the author of the story, I just want to share a wonderful story that you may like.
"Even at the very beginning of life, people have at least something that belongs to them besides themselves. Over time, the amount of this "something" only accumulates, its own territory, things, prepared solutions appear. And now I've suddenly lost all that alluvial layer. I don't have anything, including even an idea of how the world I'm in works. On the one hand, this is a new beginning, and my current state is closest to absolute freedom. On the other hand, it's scary."

Technically a prequel to my other fic, The Twilight Prince: Redux, and uses common worldbuilding, but should be readable as a stand alone one-shot.

The Storm King has attacked.
Canterlot has fallen.
The princesses have been captured.
There is no leadership.
There is no plan.
But there are Wonderbolts.
Wonderbolts do not give up.
Wonderbolts do not know the cost of war.
Perhaps it would have been better if Wonderbolts did give up.
