New Trixie Fic Out! · 3:04pm April 19th
Yep. I published a new Trixie fic. It's even an EqG one , the superiour show 
Anyway, despite only being up for about 12 hours, it climbed up to the top featured spot, and I want to thank all of you for the huge support you give with this fic!
Of course, being featured (at least from I gathered since 2022) is also a publish timing issue, which worked out here with not that many new stories published (for now). But regardless, none of it would matter without your engagement 
All in all, I am glad that an EqG Trixie fic is being received so well. I could've turned it into an FiM story (it would play out the same and still get much more views and attention), but considering I don't write that actively anymore, I had set in the show I enjoy.
Fun fact: This fic emerged after I scrolled through my Google Docs drafts and found the file with the idea of a mute Trixie due to a sore throat. I then sat down on my phone (it was a bit after midnight) and wrote it all in one go after two hours.
No, I didn't publish it immediately after. PseudoBob Delightus proofread it thoroughly and caught several issues, giving it the much needed fix and polishing.
These moments of "creative flow in one go" is rare for me. I was basically figuring things stuff out on the go and how it would evolve, surprising myself with the end also (yes, it wasn't planned). This shows why I stopped myself from writing:
Time usage.
Imagine that these 2.3k words took 2 hours of non-stop writing. And now realise that this was very fast for me. (Somehow, I write best around nighttime.)
Writing fics is really time consuming for me. Why? Formulating sentence and finding words already takes time for me, now add to that English being not my native language. And the editing and proofreading process also then took time (I had to rewrite and reorganise some scenes). And for the quality I then give out which are only considerably good because someone else fixes my mistakes?
Yeah…
So, no, I'm not back to writing fics. Maybe I get an idea I find so great that I need it written down or get an inspiration. But I'm gonna keep it short.
Instead, daily tent and trees puzzles and mosaic puzzles it is. Even got to top 100 in some categories 
While I might not agree that EqG is better than Fim, I appreciate your explanation of the writing process for this fic. It was a very nice little read
