Falling behind again · 11:14pm Nov 15th, 2019
Will catch up after I've had a bit of time to decompress. Reasons below.
Right so. I've been busy this week carrying some dead weights around again, I've essentially had to churn out all the code for the project by myself and then on Monday I'ma have to go smile when we go to meet the client and pretend the other schmucks present contributed more than two hours between them in the past three weeks. Thank fuck one of 'ems quitting after Christmas sometime, and the other's on thin ice. Luckily I was able to pick up the slack an d deliver on our promises since I actually like this client.
ANY DAMN WAY I've just been in a lot of crunch and that makes it hard to get into the right headspace to write. Hell if it weren't so easy to portray Celestia and if it didn't put me in a better mood afterwards I'd probably force out something to go dark on for awhile.
As is, I'll probably get some chapters out this weekend since I'm finally in a stable place.
Don't worry, I'm not in danger or depressed, it's just I feel like 'RL happened' is a bit flimsy and... let's face it the ranting helped.
Much love, everypony!
Good luck with the project and real life. Hope you get competent help next time.
No worries, hopefully the boss learns the true way to have successful employees
Hire quick, fire quicker (if legitimate)
Ugh, deadweights on a group project are the worst. No worries, take your time.
I didn't even have to read the reasons, and I don't really intend to. Just so you know, you don't need to provide any reasons why you want a break. You aren't under an obligation. Take all the time you need.
It's okay, we get it...
Just enjoy and thank God your "colleagues" might and will go the way if the Dodo
Realized I had forgotten to give you a follow, came over to see if everything was OK. Hopefully work doesn't kick your ass too much, so you can relax (and then entertain us ).
I was getting curious. Don't go stressing yourself on our behalf. That wouldn't be good for anyone.
