After the defeat of Opaline, Sunny pays another visit to the dragon lands. She has a few questions for Spike about how he became dragon lord and left Twilight all those years ago. Spike reluctantly agrees to explain everything he can.
On the eve of the Summer Sun Celebration, Sunny Starscout realizes an ancient evil is on the verge of returning. Now it’s up to her to stop it; if only she could find the mysterious artifacts known as the Elements of Harmony.
(Loosely based on "Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore".) Sunny becomes convinced that Sprout feels like he's been forgotten, so she decides to cheer him up by having her friends work with her to throw Sprout a surprise birthday party.
Sunny and Hitch learn that a dragon named Spike was responsible for sending Sparky's egg to Maretime Bay. They and their friends then seek out Spike to try to get some answers about what happened to Equestria and Princess Twilight.
(Takes place after "Have You Seen This Dragon?") Sunny has a talk with Hitch about his brief masquerade as a superhero while trying to find Sparky. Hitch, in turn, shares with Sunny the inspiration that made him want to become sheriff.
Sprout doesn't really care for the holiday of Winter Wishday, and voices his displeasure openly. Little does he know that his friends are opting to stage an intervention. Or that one night he shall be visited by some unusual guests.
(Takes place right after "A New Generation".) As magic returns to Equestria, Phyllis decides to have a long overdue chat with Sunny Starscout. In particular, she wants to apologize for the way she's treated the new alicorn.
(Based on a fan comic.) Sprout runs away from Maretime Bay and makes an unusual "friend". Said friend convinces Sprout to turn on his other friends. When things look bleak for Sunny and the gang, some unexpected faces show up to help.
Izzy takes it upon herself to cheer up Sprout and make him feel welcome and wanted again. Sprout isn't in the mood, still distrustful of pegasi and unicorns. But Izzy isn't the type of pony who takes "No" for an answer.
Little Sprout ropes Little Hitch and Little Sunny into an attempt to find his missing mommy. Little do the three little ponies suspect what this innocent adventure will lead to.
Sunny has been awfully busy lately, much to Hitch's disappointment. Hitch has been busy with Sheriff duties, Sunny can hardly interrupt those, right? But maybe a certain pegasus can help these two find a minute to themselves once more.
Izzy, Zipp and Pipp learn from Hitch about Sunny's father and what happened to him. They then decide that the only thing do is to visit his grave so they can be there for Sunny.
Sunny surprises Hitch with a proposal to go on a date. Hitch is extremely nervous because Sunny isn't just a friend, she's his childhood friend. Will the date go off without a hitch?
Sunny pays a visit to Sprout after Hitch has him jailed for his crimes. Sprout will be surprised not only by Sunny's visit, but also her reason for visiting him.
(G5 Spoilers!) Sunny Starscout tries to understand how the three pony tribes drifted apart so long ago, and ends up bringing Princess Twilight to witness what has become of Equestria after all these years.
