Friendships come and go, and for me, what once was a great time faded into nothingness. These days I sit around at home, doing nothing but living off the inheritance that my parents left for me. Sometimes, I turn to My Little Pony, reminiscing about the golden years of youth, when friendships and innocence flourished with glee.

I wish for a bit of magic. Something that can truly brighten up my life for years to come.

Back in the ancient times, just after the defeat of Nightmare Moon, Equestria was a fairly different place. The magic of the world was untamed, shaping the lives of all creatures, and the wilds were, indeed, wild. Strange creatures and bizarre vistas could be found all over, like an artist's strokes cross a breathtaking painting.

It was in these times that Fantasia Lexicon was born, a mare with a rather... peculiar way of seeing the magic that flowed through all living things.

This fic is an ongoing commission made through Discord, I am glad you chose me for your fic idea and I can't wait to keep working with you in the future.

Note: The archaic English chosen is a middle-path between readability and accuracy. Skipping hath and a myriad of changes in verbs and constructs. Hopefully the switch from Royal Canterlot voice to more modern Luna will still be noticed.
