If you've ever poked at my other stories, you'll notice that I do a lot of AU work.
Generally these will be where the nail goes missing to create those stories, random bits and pieces that I can't jam into stories, or AU ideas.

Feel free to comment / PM me a request! Make sure it contains a "hook". Examples include "But Twilight is a draconequus" "but it's Princess Luna & Daybreaker" etc.

Thank you for gratifying me kind sir

This was strangely poetic. I liked that.

Have a Thumbs Up! I look forward to seeing what other short stories find their way into this collection.

I'm afraid I don't have any prompts on me just yet, but sometime soon I'll rack my brain and see what I can come up with.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to what you come up with. I've already gotten a couple other great ones.

I've seen it all. The fires of Trot burning. Magebeams glittering at the gates of Tartarus. All of it lost, like tears in the rain.

"Time to have never been."

Of course a baker claims the Scone of Stone.

Incredibly impactful stuff. I find myself unsure how to feel about it. I don't have the data Twilight did. I don't know how the futures compare and what the cost-benefit analysis looks like. I'm really shaky on foisting the salvation of the world off on Starlight whether she likes it or not. And given Starlight's importance in the grand scheme of things, I find myself wondering if the two are locked in a double Mobius time loop, constantly exchanging that one pair of wings.

You've got me thinking with this one, and that's never a bad thing. Thank you for it. Eagerly looking forward to seeing what else makes it in here.

Also, suppose Twilight's cutie mark got shuffled along with the others in "Magical Mystery Cure." What's the end result?

The snippet creates an interesting thought experinent, and an invitation into interpreting Starlight's character. Arguably she is a more powerful spellcaster with both at baseline, since she seriously worked over Alicorn Twilight twice. Moving her into Twilight's place removes one of the detrimental aspects of her character; she has always valued friendship unlike Twilight, and as a villain pursued a twisted form of it. She would have had more honest and close dealings with Twilight's Canterlot friends without the foalhood trauma of being abandoned and forgotten.
She's an interesting character- a foil to Twilight on several different levels. Magical talent but more. She's more personable and honestly friendly (while as a villain she does resort to the whole kidnapping and brainwashing tape thing, her first attempt at converting them is a sincere invitation to join them).
I could go on, but these are all things Twilight has noticed here. And really, foisting incredible cosmic power and throwing ponies at things they're not prepared for is something she learned at Celestia's knee.

And given Starlight's importance in the grand scheme of things, I find myself wondering if the two are locked in a double Mobius time loop, constantly exchanging that one pair of wings.

Nope. One and done. Twilight A made sure that Starlight B and Twilight B wouldn't ever move in the same circles. You, of a small handful of people, have read a short scene about Starlight B's eventual future.

Also, suppose Twilight's cutie mark got shuffled along with the others in "Magical Mystery Cure." What's the end result?

Frantic horse noises.

Seems more like a last episode than a first episode to me, but hey, I ain't keen to quibblin' :derpytongue2:

It sets up for a world in which Celestia and Sunset reconcile early, Starlight is Celestia's personal student, and Twilight is left in the lurch without a destiny.

Dark but interesting. Look forward to seeing more.

"Twilight" is actually a stallion named Dusk Shine but no one else is able to perceive this and they all see "him" as a mare. This can go a few ways: 1.Discord enough said, 2.some ancient curse, or 3. She is Twilight but she went crazy from stress and made up a different life for "him"self.
