Years have come and gone, yet through all of it, six friends have remained close. From the far flung corners of the world they come together each year to visit, and reinforce that eternal bond of friendship.

Let me see where I have been
And if that light still shines
And if fortune smiles
I will pass this way again
I will pass this way again

that was an extremely touching story. I've always loved your writing style. Its good to see you writing on here again. Thought maybe the fandom had lost you xD

silverstream dying almost made me cry :raritycry::raritycry::raritycry:

Reading between the lines, death during childbirth? That's what she gets for not laying an egg like a proper birb.

Moving past the irreverence, interesting conclusion concerning Smolder’s likely lifespan compared to the other five. Outside of something unexpected, she probably will be the last survivor.

...I didn't ask for these feels...:pinkiesad2:

Wow what a way to start my day, with an existential crisis over the passing of time. :applecry:
amazing work

OH MY GOD that was sad! I almost cried!
By the way how did Silverstream die?

Wow. That was incredible. I don't know what the prompt was, but that definitely deserved to place high in the competition.
9651166 hit it on both of their points. Death during childbirth is a terrible way to go, but it does happen. And Smolder is going to be living without her friends for a loooooooooooooong time. Such is the burden of dragon lifespans. The question then is: will she ever eventually forget them? Their memories lost to the sands of time?
The answer is likely no.

Goddamnit, you bastard. You made me feel things.

Well, that story was something.

It was real good, sad too.

Well then im not sad at all 😢😭

A fine piece of work.
