I relate a bunch to RD; even with far less high-level responsibilities, these sort of feelings can stick around.
This was very good! I think some stories like this, especially when they come from your heart and are personal, benefit significantly from being written in one sitting, and it shows here.

A nice little story.

Thanks. I've never published on Fimfic before and wasn't sure how it would be received — and didn't realize there was an approval queue (that took three days?), somehow. I've posted on AO3 (not MLP related stuff, Madoka Magica fics) but am not great at making long, multi-chapter stories. I tend to lose motivation in writing things over a certain length, so I think I do better w shorter pieces like this, especially if I can personally relate to the subject matter. I'm glad you liked it.

Now that you've gotten your first story approved, you can now have your future submitted fics 'auto-approved', and that takes usually 1-3 hours!
I feel you as well with struggling with maintaining those longer chapter projects haha!

First off congratulations on your first story.
Second, I think the style fits the story, despite the physical exhaustion your brain just whirls around and around, I've been there myself.

Yeah, I figured as much. A lot of things I write tend to get a bit "off" (not sure of terminology — they don't always flow well even if the grammar and spelling are acceptable enough) anyways due to other factors (I work a full time job and thus may stop at random points, unmedicated ADHD, etc), but I think it's more of a boon in this story than a drawback.

For any long form stories you decide to write, like your one with Voyager, it might behoove you (pun intended) to get a beta reader to help you with this sort of thing. I'd volunteer, but I am only medium good at editing as Izzy might say.

Hug the poor colorful Pegasus! :applecry:
