One of the pony augmented traffic ontrol troops should be called Jake Bullet. :pinkiegasp:

Cos he cant hit Jake.:rainbowderp:

You havent opened the ultra secure intelligence communique, that even in digital format has Happy Birthday written in crayon over it. :pinkiecrazy:

Oh, that was it. In the Iron Warriors universe, Equestria is The Emperors pet farm, and he likes playing with his action figures? :trollestia:

Funny little read

I cannot recommend the story it's crossed over with enough (link in long description). It's really good, and I think even people who haven't heard of Warhammer 40k will appreciate the humor.

Oh yeah Iron Hearts is one of if not my favorite stories, full stop. Its good enough that every so often I will reread it from the start. Only other fic i do that with is Project Stardust and its sequel Mente Menteria

I meant Ciaphas Cain, Warmaster of Chaos, but what you said applies to Iron Hearts too.

“Yeah, all those are true. We do forgive our enemies a lot… but only after we’ve beaten them.” The last words landed like a drop pod crammed to the brim with the Emperor’s Angels, set to barge out and pump everything Vandere thought he knew about these creatures full of bolt rounds. “Our homeworld may look cute and whimsical, but look past the bright colors and you’ll find monsters who try to eat us, suck our souls out, enslave our minds, level our mountains, set fire to our cities, subvert our leaders, and even rewrite the very laws of nature itself left, right, and center. We have to deal with all that on a weekly basis. Compared to all that, this," he waved a hoof at what had briefly been a battlefield, "this was actually pretty tame.”

This was good, though this part and the name of the pony that took the commissar prisoner appears to be largely from Kris Overstreet's Expeditionary Force fic. An homage?
