I'm no shipper.
benjovi2004 knows this.
But I can't help but think of Sparity for some reason whenever I hear this song.
The Diary of Horace Wimp by Electric Light Orchestra from the 1979 album Discovery.
Quiet lurker/music lover who "accidentally" also became a part-time weird conversationalist. Music Recommendations. I prefer CDs and records. Ironic.

This is a "symphony" of four songs, if you will, entitled Concerto for a Rainy Day from ELO's seventh album Out of the Blue (1977).
It's comprised of Standing in the Rain, Big Wheels, Summer and Lightning, and Mr. Blue Sky.
I won't blame you if you don't have time to listen to all 18 or so minutes of this.
But if you do...
It's spectacular.
Some guy even wrote a fic inspired by it:

(please set the order of the photos from a-z on the album, as except for the last few, that's the exact order I took them in.)
That's the link to the photo album, because I was having trouble uploading them to Fimfic.

Ouch, I fell off the tightrope into the abyss below!
I don't know what I just did with this blog post at all.
Tightrope by Electric Light Orchestra from the 1976 album A New World Record.
Ah, yes we come to what I deem to be my "favorite" (hard air quotes there) ELO song.
I mean, there's probably others I like just as much (and I truly enjoy all of their songs) but there's just something special about this one.
It also helps that this song reminds me greatly of Past Sins, but that's a story for another day.
ELO's fourth album is called Eldorado.
Best Fimfiction mod.
It's structured so that a lot of songs flow together without any silence between tracks, which is wonderful.
This isn't my favorite song (Well, a song and its intro song, similar to Sirius/Eye in the Sky), but I would be remiss if I didn't include it.
Eldorado Overture and Can't Get It Out of My Head by ELO, 1974.
You won't be able to get it out of your head.
Y'know what, I'm gonna take like nine days and pick a song from most of the Electric Light Orchestra albums that I have (but not all of them).
I hope by next Thursday you'll have understood completely why this is necessary.
Eheheh... Favorite Band Time.
Dreaming of 4000 by ELO from the 1973 album On the Third Day, their third album.
The band with the best-selling album of all time in the US, and the second best-selling album of all time in the entire world is the Eagles.
While not my favorite band by any means, you can tell by listening to the album in question, Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975), that the reason they sold so many copies is pretty obvious.
Ready a room at the Hotel Californ...
Don't do drugs people.
