Writing update :3 · 8:34am March 27th
Just letting y'all know that I'm mostly focusing on backstory, world building, and planning out future plot points rather than writing chapter 7 at the moment. But I think it's going well! I've been thinking up a whole lot of fun ideas for where to take plot threads I've established that I think will be interesting :3
Writing will definitely be slowing down from here though, I have no idea how I wrote the first 6 chapters that quickly lmao
Maybe I can go for a sort of every other week thing? No promises tho, my schedule is too sporadic for anything concrete. Regardless, writing this fic is more of a fun thing to do in my free time, if and when I do have free time. I'm very glad y'all are enjoying it tho!
Anyways thats all, until next time >:3
Yeah I can feel you. When I started my story, I went through 5 chapters in under 4 days and was on a 1 chapter 1 day schedule for a short while. But it's best to take it slow and do things at your own pace. Rushing it will not make it better and can only lead to plot holes and slip ups. Keep up the good work.
Ps. Good insight on planning out your story now. I promise, it'll feel much smoother once you get back to writing!

hehe thanks, tbh im just following your advice from the last post :3
its pretty good advice! i already have a pretty decent idea on where i wanna take things and how i want it to end. though theres still some more potential for more detail so i'll spend a bit more time on it >:3
I might be where you were a week ago. I wrote 9K words in less than a week after not touching fiction in about five years. Not sure what my advice is worth, but I'd suggest at least still trying to set a goal of writing a certain amount a day. I'm not disagreeing with Rapane; you can still take your time editing and publishing. But at least that way you're in the habit of working at it. I know for my self, if I don't stick to writing a little bit a day, the chances of another five year gap in writing is pretty high.
