Okay I’m sorta stealing this idea from Fluffy... No that’s not right, I’m plagiarizing it. (if you get that reference I will be happy)
So I'm going to this thing.
I'll be leaving tomorrow, picking up Trick Question and a friend, and dragging them, along with Drax99 to the con when it starts.
This will be my fifth year attending, as Drax and I have went to the con together since 2013.
On the eve of E3 2017, let's look back at what was undoubtedly the biggest mic drop in the history of the expo; Jack Tretton's closing remarks during Sony's keynote of E3 2013.
Legendary actor Adam West, best known as TV's Batman of the 1960s, has died at the age of 88.
So BronyCon is starting once again, and once again I can't be there. I would have liked to be there this year in particular, especially as the convention fell over my 27th birthday (the Sunday). It would have been nice to spend my birthday, and a few days either side, on a holiday in Baltimore. But alas, 'twas not meant to be. Maybe next year, when I think it's being held between the 27th and 29th July.
If I can get a new job ASAP with good hours then I should be able to save up and make it.
RIP Mary Tyler Moore
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone on this site. I know it's a bit late in the morning, but I guess that's how it goes with me. XD
I hope all of you here are having/had a wonderful day, no matter what holiday you celebrate.
...is winnin' shit.
Diamond Tiara is Sad on the First Day of School won the Pronkie Pay award for Most Smile-a-riffic in the Neverflee Southeast 2017 Scrubblefist writing competition! Which was the very thing I wrote it for, in fact!
Good for me. Good job, Posh.
Yeah....There wasn't enough for a Top 10 Best movie list this year...ir was there?....you'll see😏. Anyways, here's the top 10!:
10.) The Lego Ninjago Movie
It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be...ya know...for a kids movie.
9.) Cars 3
Honestly, did they have to make a 2nd sequel? And this one wasn't all that good!
8.) Thor: Ragnarok
Okay....I honestly wanted to like this movie! I really did!...I just couldn't...
7.) Dunkirk
Decent con so far. Even if I haven't done much.
The one convention I wanted to go to this year and I can't make it.
Sucks.
Here's wishing everyone who goes the best time. Have fun and hopefully I'll see you there next year.
PS: If anyone wants to, send me an email with any amazing pictures you happen to get while there, and I might use them in the Brony Book I'm writing.
Summed up perfectly by Johnathan Pie;
Who knows what hell awaits in 2018, eh?
Betch wasn't expecting this blog huh? (j/k, y'all knew this was happening!). Anyways, here's the list!:
10.) The Lego Batman Movie
Again, I didn't love it nor did I hate it...it was simply good.
9.) Get Out
Okay, I for one love horror movies and indie films. This was, for me, my favorite indie film of this year.
8.) Fifty Shades Darker
....don't judge me...it was FAR more tame than the 1st film.
7.) Spider-Man: Homecoming
Jerry Lewis has passed away.
He left behind millions of "Jerry's Kids" who will mourn the passing of a truly great human being.
Well, just got out if closing ceremonies. Which makes it the first opening and closing ceremonies I've been to in decades, I think.
Yes, you--the person I met at BronyCon.
