No, the Naruto Character is called Son Goku as well, possibly a reference to Dragon Ball, which itself is based on "Journey to the West" where the main character is called Sun Wukong.
Anycase, since the title has 'Monkey King' on it, I knew it wasn't Dragon Ball immediately. This might prove interesting.

Sun Wukong is the chinese name, Son Goku is the Japanese name. It's nothing to do with Dragonball.

There are no chicken tailed beasts. Cocoro from Legend of Zelda may be monsters that look like chickens and can murder you but they aren't as strong as the tailed beasts. Not by a long shot.
