With Hearth’s Warming comes the painful anniversary of the death of Daring Dash, the younger sister of Rainbow Dash. Three years after her death, Rainbow stumbles across a strange interactive adventure novel written by her sister and enlists the help of Twilight Sparkle to bring it to life. What follows is the adventure of a lifetime, as Rainbow comes to realize how little she actually knew about her sister. And maybe, through a crazy tale of magic, monsters, and heroes, she can find some closure as well.

That'd be the one that inspired this. Hope I can do it justice.
I know the story. I was in this story. So how the hell did I not see this coming?
Wonderful.

Thanks!
Shouldn't the character tags only feature them, then?

I suppose. The line between secondary and main character isn't all that clear on this story. Yes, the focus isn't strictly on them but they still play a fairly important role in the story (to me anyways).
No, what? No. No. No. Do not ignore the Ghost in the room! How!? Why!?
So, does this mean she showed everyone the white room through the spell? Or is this just some vision? I’ll admit, I was kind of hoping at some point that she would come back. Oh well. It was a magnificent story. You broke my heart.

The white room scene is supposed to symbolize letting go and Rainbow moving on. While the first white room was a byproduct of Twilight's spell, this white room is probably formed from Rainbow's imagination, being as its where she started.
Thank you!

Nobody ever notices the ghost in the room. Kinda weird, huh?
Got a review for your fic, all sutured up and ready for discharge!

Thank you glad you liked it! ^^
I don't really care for the whole shipping subplots, but dang it. I kind of died laughing at "suppoused". Seems like a spelling error to me, but it also could be a combination of supposed and spouse, which is an amusing thought.
It's nice and interesting to be able to get a feeling that this character wasn't done being alive yet, but she's dead anyway.
I chock the ghost up to the fact that Rainbow is hopped up on on magic/sensory confusion and is very confused right now. She's hallucinating her own mental representation and exploring what the really thinks since she represses the ideas.
Hmm, I was a bit confused as to what this ending was. I thought the actual ponies the characters represented were there until I read through the comments to find out about the white room trope. Interesting representation of Rainbow's closure even though I was a bit confused.
I thoroughly enjoyed this.
