Being the eldest sibling is hard, especially when you have no parents to raise your younger sisters. In this story, that's just the case in Adagio Dazzle's life. Unlike the Dazzlings we've come to see so far, this Adagio and her sisters have always lived on Earth, showing just a peak into the human counterparts' lives. During a normal night at home, Adagio has to remember the thoughts of her mother, all while keeping her promise to keep her sisters happy. Life can be unfair at times...

This oneshot has been on my mind a lot and I've been wanting to make this into a full fledged story, but I want to see how my audience reacts to this type of prompt before I write something like it~ Please tell me what you think of this dynamic and enjoy the show! P.S. This story now has a sequel called Dreams and Reality!
This story is pretty cute. Congratulations on writing it.

Thanks so much! I wanted to make it cute, despite the tones of abuse in the story and such~ I'm glad you liked the story!
Is this is the same continuity of your other stories or a seperate time line?
11318289
Separate timeline~ This story is following the human counterparts of the sirens, but thanks for asking~ If something is in the same continuity, I will put a note in the description saying it's a sequel or such~
It's a bit generic, but It's decent enough and I don't have a whole lot going on, so I'll track it.

Thanks~ I'll definitely think about making a full-fledged story out of this prompt after I finish my long fic right now~
Oh, little Sonata's cuteness is killing me. to which I can only say, fair enough, carry on.
It's really heartbreaking that other kids won't be her friend though. She is a cute little ball of wonderful. ❤

Precisely what I wanted~ I'm glad you thought she was cute! I've never written a kid character as young as ten and all, so I had to try and remember what it was like when I was ten and I did a little bit of research~ I also took a bit of my own personal experience when it came to friendships. In this story, I really wanted to preserve Sonata's innocent attitude and clearly cute outlook on life while having this kind of abusive past, so I made her a kid. Thanks for taking the time to read my story~ I definitely appreciate it and I will consider making a full story as a sequel to this~

I'll be there when that sequel arrives then. I really want to see more, even if it breaks my heart a little.
Besides, you made me want to hug Sonata even more than usual. 💖

I'm glad you want to see more~ The sequel will probably be mostly about Adagio and her struggles being almost a single mom for Aria and Sonata, but they will still be in it a good bit~ As well as a fiery-haired individual, but yeah.
Sonata deserves hugs, just saying~

Yes, yes she does.
And again, I will be there for it. 👍
Huh, guess in this world Sonata is just a toddler. That sure explains the picture for the story. Still though.
https://m.How sad.
A kind Aria eh, there's something I wasn't expecting.
She's definitely gonna have a rough reaction when she learn santa ain't real.
At least she did 1 thing good in this part. Leave her phone behind.
Aquaman is nothing like a siren other than the fact he's from the ocean.
Guess that explains what happened to their mother.
While this story was a little sad, I'm glad that Adagio has done so much for her sisters. A sign of how much she cares for them.
Reminds me of what my aunt Kelly has been going through since she divorced my former uncle in 2011 and she's been a single parent since then.

Sonata is about ten years old in this story~ Aria is around 17 and Adagio is in her mid twenties. As for Aria, she is still mean, but I wanted to show that she can be nice to her sisters when she really wants to. Adagio has essentially acted like their mother for a long time now, so that's why Aria left her phone behind.
I really wanted to make a more dramatic story with abuse and mentions of trauma in it, hence why this exists. I decided on the name because of how their biological mother was to them. As sad as it may be with their poverty, trauma, and circumstances, I liked writing it and I'm glad you enjoyed it~ This story has an incomplete sequel titled Dreams and Reality~ You may want to give that a shot if you enjoyed this~

Oh I'll be reading the sequel alright.
