You already know how this one ends...or DO you?
A fanfic for the OTHER fanfic (which someone unpublished, idk) "Princess Celestia saves Robin Williams from killing himself."
(No warranty expressed or implied.)
Honestly, if you don't like VERY dark comedy, you should probably just go read this instead: https://www.lbda.org/blog/robin-williams-and-lewy-body-dementia-2/
It's informative!
SICK.

That's not very specific.
...uhhh...what the hell did I just read....?
...actually...this was downright silly, and leagues better than another story which I shall not name...

Thank you! I'm glad if my story leaves you with questions and makes you think.
Better than mine, mine was a shitty and admittedly disrespectful parody.
Also, if the link doesn't work it's because I deleted it, got too much understandable hate so I decided to keep it as an inside joke among my friends, but I'm glad you made it good.
Reloading and dumping the votes and comments....
Poor form on your part
11471032
Thank you! I am happy you liked it.
11471033
What?
If you can't tell the difference between this story and the one someone else wrote, either you didn't bother to look or your reading comprehension is terrible.
11471033
I had nothing to do with this revamp, this guy just made mine but better, mine was shitty and I deleted it.
Alt accounts are against the rules I believe, why would I do that?
11471035
I think the funniest part of this situation is people thought I was being serious, literally most of my fics are shitposts in story form, but it spiraled out of control.
Why in the hell would you write this fucking trash? This is garbage.
11471046
But did you read it?
11471048
Yes
I don't understand why people write stories about a dead guy but ight.
11471059
Me neither. It's stupid.
Bad taste, not funny. Robin Williams hung himself and his death was not that long ago.
11471072
Yes, that's actually the problem the story's characters have to struggle with. If you want to save Robin Williams' life without causing some kind of time chaos by changing the past, you have to take extreme measures to NOT (or not APPEAR to) change history.
Hold this for me my guy.i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/936/273/b18.jpg

When I see someone leave a picture like that as a comment, I want to say, "Wow, did you come up with that witty comment yourself?" but I generally know the answer
"What witty? And no, I am not capable of such"
This is in incredibly poor taste. Robin Williams isn't some fictional character or historical figure that you can joke about without upsetting anybody.
11471148
To me, Robin Williams is an IMPORTANT historical figure. One I can understand someone going to great lengths to try to rescue.
11471155
Except this doesn't read as a story about saving him. At best it jokes about his death and at worst it implies Robin Williams would be fine with letting his beloved family and friends be traumatised by a fake death.
11471160
Literal quote from the story, which implies SOMETHING...(especially in context.)
11471163
Eh. Just weird. It started weird and slightly funny, the dark humor with the doll was. Not a typo, it just was. Robin Williams got healed and back with his family. People are upset about "too soon" but ignoring that there was a distinct lack of anything to enjoy. Well, at least Celestia didn't just prevent his suicide without saving him like I expected from the amount of downvotes.
Also very poor choice of title.
11471138
I hope he holds it
11471041
Thanks for the answered question
Hopefully Robin might be on the Witness Protection Program. . . Or there's a guy who's his doppleganger . Eyes on 6/6/2022
Mockingbirb, I know that you put effort into this, and that this is a meaningful subject. I'm withholding judgement on this story since I'm of two minds. I'm not going to recommend any particular course of action. However, I want you to consider that "Real Person Fiction" can have direct ramifications on the site where such a work is posted.
FanFiction.net faced legal action due to a story about another real person. Mr. Williams still has an active estate, so I would be cautious about bringing ire to this site.
11471534
Thank you!
I really mean that, because I do believe...CONTINUE to believe, really, that stories on fimfiction.net should carefully avoid libeling any real person, such as Robin Williams.
And like many people on this site, I, too, would like to have a time machine I could use to sneak back to the past, rescue Robin Williams, get a cure for Lewy body dementia from the future, and give it to him. I guess one difference is that I wrote a story about somepony rescuing him by bringing him the cure, and the rescuer having to reconcile the rescue with somehow avoiding time paradoxes?
11471575
Precisely what I mean about being of two minds. I understand what you're doing, and it makes sense to me.
Eh……to be honest, I was drawn to this “Extreme praise ratio”……
I read this out of curiosity.
That said, umm... hmm.
This was kinda rough. I normally can enjoy some dark humor but Robin was a pretty easy guy to like. I don't know if it would have been better or worse if his depiction here had been more "in character".
Anyway, I don't feel like I can really up or down vote this. So take another neutral I guess.
*Looks at dislike ratio*
You hit a nerve here.
