Angry PMs · 4:14pm Jun 25th, 2016
When I get angry PMs from authors whose stories I left a negative comment on, I always laugh. This one I got a few minutes ago is one of the funniest I've ever seen.
An Irish girl who reads, writes, reviews, and occasionally draws. Don't worry though. My hair isn't black, my eyes aren't blue, and I'm not from Galway, so you won't be losing your heart to me.

Anyone remember that story? It was one of the first stories I ever wrote, and the first I ever finished. And it has a lot of problems. From edgy OCs, to HTTYD canon-defying moments, to confusing and absurd plot points, to suspicious contrivances and coincidences, and finally MLP characters acting wildly out of character.
Even after the story has been dead for over a year, I still get PMs and comments asking me for updates on Trust in the Night. What I'd really like to know is why. I was idly thumbing through it the other day and I realised that it sucks. It sucks really, really bad. It has about the same writing quality as those crappy one-shots with the 'X Verbs Y' titles that you see in the feature box or popular stories list. The ones that literally serve no purpose other than pandering to the
I said I'd start writing these more often. Here you go.
I just had to write a six and a half A4 page poetry response for homework. All in one night wherein I also had about a million other things to do and only an hour and a half with which to do them. Needless to say, I'm a very tired froggy right now.
Sylvia Plath and her depressing poetry will haunt me to the fucking grave.
I don't make these things very often, in fact I'll probably start making them more often, but I'm a bit ticked off right now and that's going to leak into my writing and reviewing if I don't do something about it.
I cannot stand it when well-known and respected authors act in a juvenile and childish manner and no one says anything about it.
So, many of you are probably wondering something, and that something would be, where the hell is Chapter 3 of Trust in the Night, the Animals chapter of Genesis, and The Middle of Hypernova?
Well, the reasons are actually quite simple. I've tagged Trust in the Night here because it has the most followers and also the biggest gap between chapters, but the reasons are the same for all three.
Somehow, one of the deranged ramblings I call 'stories' has been featured. I have absolutely no idea how this happened.
Explain, someone? That's not to say I'm not pleased though, since it's my first ever featured story.
Because Ascension and Pirates of Equus weren't enough for me. But this one looked so good I couldn't resist.
This one doesn't have an official name yet, as far as I can tell, but the working title is Rise and Fall of an Empire: The New Lunar Republic.
Can you guess what it will be about? To quote the author who came up with the idea:
So, what do you people think?
The shading is really bad, and so is the cutie mark, but this is Leaping Bound, my personal OC. I was thinking of using her to try and write a good self-insert story, but not yet.
Since this pony is based on me, she:
Is Quick to anger
Is Dirty-minded
Is Foul-mouthed
Is Aggressive
Is Loyal
Is Friendly
Is Witty
Is Slightly crazy
My sincere apologies for the even-longer-than-usual delay on the latest chapter of Night Fury's Lament.
