I'm moving this Friday and I feel a bit... stressed. The move itself is gonna be something, though thankfully I'm gonna have movers. I dunno how the cats will handle it, and then AFTER the move itself...

Just unpacking is gonna be a PAIN in the butt, for sure, but also... I'm gonna have more responsability, I'm gonna have to clean more often, and living is gonna get just a bit more expensive...and the internet isn't gonna be on until the 24th...joy.

I'm back online! It wasn't so bad, aside from the bed frame needing to be taken apart further to fit in the stairs... I got most of my boxes emptied by now, and the cat is getting used to our new digs. Only issue is IKEA doesn't have all the furniture I need in stock and it's a bit annoying but it's only my office.

I'm not in any big hurry, it's not like I can have people over.

Exciting news! I finally finished the first draft of a novel I've been working on. It's different from the first one I've mentioned before. That one is still cooking because it requires a lot of rewriting. Thankfully, this one won't require as much work for its second draft.

I've been writing it for about a year now and I'd like to share it with you guys. It's inspired by DnD and epic fantasy stories. One of my favorite genres. It's about a half-elf named Inwë who's found herself completely naked in a frozen wasteland with no clue how she got there or how she'll survive her hostile new surroundings without anything to aid her.

I'd love to hear some feedback if any of you are interested in reading it. Talon's been helping me with it, but I'd like to hear what you have to say also. The first few chapters are a little rough, but I improve a great deal later. It's called Frozen Abyss. Which is a placeholder, because I'm terrible with coming up with names. I'm come up with something better later. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.

Huh... so apparently one of my stories got "scouted" now too.

Not that I have any reason to complain. Mostly I'm just surprised that apparently no one at EQD bothers to to inform authors... that and I still remember way back when the Lunaverse started and despite RDD's stories regularly getting featured over there we had trouble getting recognition for a the rest of the setting because EQD didn't want to list derivative stories by different authors, or some excuse like that.
