I will be at the Bornycon this weekends!
Good news! I finally got off my lazy butt, stopped fleeing from dinosaurs and starting writing more Vinyl-related goodness. So yes, those of you actually bothering to read Order of Shadows, I will be updating this weekend.
That's really all I've got today. Not been a very active week, really. Unless you count watching a brontosaurus kicking the crap out of a carnataur 'active.' It was, at least, interesting to me. Bastard had already eaten me twice by that point.
First chapter is up! Enjoy!
As you may be aware, The Writeoff is a great place where awesome people hang out, and sometimes we even get around to writing stories. Usually these stories are about ponies, because, you know, what else is there to write stories about?
While I'm not one of those types who obsesses over dreams and is always searching them for deeper meaning, I do feel that they tend to show off our mental state in a way that's a lot more intimate than your normal reply to "how ya doin'?" The subconscious holds a large part of who we are and how we're feeling, and--as I mentioned in discussing other fics of mine--I believe that tapping into your own subconscious is a clear path to better understanding yourself.
The competition has finally come to its conclusion. The final results are in!
In third place was Baal Bunny's charming mouse world tale, To Drive the Cold Winter Away.
So, there happened a little derp in my list with my upcoming stories.
...And the final ending, Ending C, will be uploaded tomorrow, concluding the story. Thank you all for your support during the publication, and I hope you will enjoy the multiple endings. I've been loving your comments, and I'm eager to see how the completed story is received.
“Every crazy pony is unique in their insanity, I’ve found,” Twilight Sparkle said. She applied her eyeliner with the edge of a safety razor, tracing a thin red line beneath her lashes that slowly wept into the soft, fine hairs of her coat. She blinked and wiped her cheeks with the back of her hoof, leaving a ruby smear behind. “I think I know more insane ponies than normal ones, and the pattern holds up pretty well.”
Part of the process, of course, is starting.
So, here's the deal: I've plugged this story twice before — in my two review posts about my '80 Days' writing challenge — but now that GaPJaxie has posted the last chapter, I can give it the full-throated praise it
GaPJaxie mentioned the Would It Matter if I Made This Group? group in his blog! I don't know why I feel so accomplished, considering all I really did was make a group that was organized.
Then again, that's a surprisingly big feat, considering some groups.
Now I just need to get him to read my story...
Enjoy this short comedy based on the prompt "The Stars Are Gone." Somehow it won! It's based on my annoyances with being a public school teacher, and it's also my first story to feature Starlight in a significant role!
It's late, it's Saturday, it's 2022, and we have a depressed robot going to the moon with her girlfriend. Enjoy!
Awesome episode today, I think, no spoilers in this blog tho, because... Bronycon Panels!
In (formerly Soviet but now independent) Russia, cute pony boops you!

Hey folks,
Back in 2015, GaPJaxie reviewed my robot story. Now I’m about to return the favor. Today I review...
