The artbook's proofs have been corrected and sent in for final printing. (Sadly, one of the pieces of art got left out accidentally, so we'll have to make a print-quality file for that one available separately. That art, in black and white, IS in the main book.)

The files for the hardcover and paperback editions are being uploaded to the printers now. Proofs will probably come back late next week for checking over.

Currently editing proofs for the CSP book, and I just discovered one of the illustrations is missing.

Well, I caught it before the book got printed...

... but I didn't catch it in time for the ART BOOK, which is being printed without it.

Artbook is fully assembled, and the absolute final edit pass is in progress on the book text. I'm awaiting templates from the printer for the covers so I can assemble those, and then the print order goes in.

The last piece of artwork came in last week.

The mini-artbook is fully assembled (final length a little shorter than expected- 56 pages instead of 64).

I have San Japan this weekend, but there's a good chance the books finally go to the printer on the weekend following.

I pull both the mini-artbook and the hardcover edition from the website September 1.

Oh, and by the way, the final piece of artwork is in. I will be getting the updated print estimates early next week and doing the final run-downs on book layouts and editing, with a goal of sending the books off to printers either just before or just after the Labor Day weekend.

So, back in February I told you I commissioned the last two illustrations for the CSP print edition.

At the end of May, one of them actually came in.

Yesterday, I requested and got a refund from the other artist, who apologized for not following through. I'm not giving their name, because this might have been a one-off thing for them and I don't feel like hitting their reputation over this.

I've got a couple more race videos to work through, and then I'm going to tackle something else from the backlog.

Also, if you haven't noticed, I'm pushing Haycartes' Pluperfect Method forward; two more chapters or so and I can move on (FINALLY) to the next book.

Me as CSP Cherry Berry at Harmonycon 2022. Because, among other reasons, I wanted to put the Kickstarter patches to use.

Not going as a vendor- just as an attendee. I suspect I'll be hanging out most often wherever the tabletop gaming might be.

One thing I'll be doing is, I'll be getting the FINAL TWO ART PIECES lined up for the Changeling Space Program print edition. One other is in progress; all the others are now in hand. Looks like the books will begin shipping in April.

I've decided on the final four pieces of art to be put in the book.

Well... final five, really, since one idea I had was just too perfect to not go in.

So that makes a total of twenty-five new pieces of commissioned artwork for the book.

Out of those, sixteen are done, one is in progress, and three are on offer to artists.

It's taking considerably longer than I'd anticipated to get these done, and for that I apologize.
