Target Novelizations. Yes, you read that right. Starting in 1973, Target Books began publishing novelizations of Classic Who serials, and continued to do so into the 1990s.

Soooo I recently read a Doctor Who and South Park crossover fic...
It was actually really good. It's got that whole sense of drama that you'd come to expect from Doctor Who but somehow manages to keep in line with South Park's sense of humor. I know that sounds kind of weird but when everyone is so in character that you can actually hear the character's voices saying these things, then you know the author did a good job.
Shepherd: "To celebrate our lil' alicorn's birth, I suggest we name the mixture of soft serve vanilla ice cream blended with cookies and/or candies as a Flurry!"
Shining: "Why do I feel like that's a joke or reference to something?"
Shepherd: "Well Flurry is my second suggestion. My first is what she wants to be called."
Candence: "What she wants to be called?"
Shepherd: "Oh yes. All humans can speak Baby."
Twilight: "Really?! You never told me that! What is she saying?"
You know, I was prepared to let that go. I was satisfied with just mentioning this briefly in my last blog post and only explaining further if somebody would ask me about it. After all, I know I don't have enough watchers to make any significant impact on pretty much anything, so why bother?
Happy Christmas, everypony!
I'll admit that I fell off the writing wagon a bit after I exhausted my buffer of completed chapters for Stargate Tail. I'm planning to post Chapter 9 soon, though, so that's a Christmas present from me to all of you.
I'm personally about 12 hours away from opening presents with my family, but I'm sure there are people out there who have already begun Christmas proper. I did do Secret Santa at work, though, so I've gotten some presents already.
Something a little different but I thought I might share my thoughts on Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor, as I am a big fan of Doctor Who.
I know some corners of the internet doubted her ability to play such an iconic character, but I'd like to think most of those voices are now silenced.
Always makes me cry every time I watch this... It does feel good to have some good tears once in my life to know that I haven't desensitized you know?
Classic Who audiobooks. These are a vital element of the fandom. Put out by the BBC, these are readings of the novelizations, mixed in with a few sound effects and little bits of music. Often read by Doctor Who actors, they are always a high quality production.
This entry contains spoilers for its corresponding chapter of Ashes to Ashes. Be warned...

Can you hear the drums?
I can. They’re not leaving my head. They are not going away.
For those that understand what I am talking about, give yourselves a pat on the back. For the rest of you, I must explain. I must explain a lot.
*sigh*
Yay ... another day at school, another excuse to cry.
So ... I suppose you want a LONG blog after about a million short ones.
So here we go. My day today
2 AM:
I'm pretty sure someone in the house is trying to kill me, I woke up this morning with my earphones tied around my neck as If I was being strangled. And yet I have no recollection of listening to music the night before. Got up, drank water, realised what time it was and sanely fired up my laptop.
Hello again. Episode 27 of Doctor and Ditzy’s Science Theater is finished. This time I will be riffing Night Fall Equestria by FLUTTERxxDASH Chapters 1-3. A revenge story where Twilight turns to the dark side to exact revenge on Chrysalis and Sombra for killing her years earlier. A pretty silly story that tries too hard. I kind of enjoy it though. It's pretty over the top when it comes to violence and language. It's kind of
My fifth story is up, and my lesson learned is that again, deadlines are a good thing. It is teaching me to be creative on a schedule, and in the world of publishing, you have to complete stories and sell them.
I am quite proud of No Fault of Her Own. It took plenty of thought about Muffin's character to be able to channel the essence of her personality and purpose in life. Both her story and the title came to me both within the same five minutes.
Now that I have your attention, the show has officially ended (no shit, I know). But as long as I continue writing, it will never end for us.
A whole story complete! *Mind explodes*
With a total word count of 33,824, it's probably the longest work of fiction I've ever written!
Still, I'm planning on, I dunno, maybe 10 more of these? Not counting all the side stories and Christmas specials I have in mind as well.
We'll have to wait to find out.
Never completed a story before either! I've written one other fic which was pretty... bleh. You wouldn't know about it.
Today marks the tenth anniversary of me creating my account here on FIMFiction. It feels incredibly surreal to type that out. Sometimes it almost feels like yesterday when I was a bright-eyed Brony entering the world of MLP fanfiction for the first time. And sometimes it feels like another lifetime ago.
Hey, all. Do you like fanfiction? Do you like Doctor Who? Do you like weird horror that is actually light comedy wearing a squid mask and struggling to pronounce Nyarlathotep?
I mean, if you're here reading the stuff that I write then you probably like at least one of those things.
So yeah, I made my first foray into fanfiction that doesn't involve ponies in any way whatsoever, and I guess it's pretty alright. Updates every other day. Description and link below.
