So here’s a thing I’ve been working on this summer. It’s a ponified song, and also it’s the biggest and most involved act of poetry I’ve ever committed in my life. All in all I’m pretty happy with how it came out.
I should get one last one of these out before the new year.

One of those vague undercurrents just got a lot less vague. And there's more coming. I just have to move the text over with all the formatting, and the next chapter of The Crown of Night will at last be published for everyone to see.

...And the new chapter is up.
First thing: Today I saw a double rainbow, and probably the strongest single rainbow I've ever seen in my life.
Sometimes I go back and reread my own stories. Is that distasteful, of an author?
I spotted the first leaves begin to change colour today. In a couple of weeks it will be all over red and yellow, and a couple of weeks after that it will be mostly bare 
Wow, guys. I actually got through it.
That storyline took… ages. Half a year, in fact. And it was super exhausting and now that it's done I want to work on something else entirely for a while. But I did it, I got through the entire storyline, and I honestly think it was pretty damn epic.
I should probably stop posting chapters after midnight. Somehow I forgot to add in the most important part of all. I have just made an addition to the author's notes at the bottom of the new chapter, but I repost it here for those of you who have read the chapter already.
The big one is now up: act 3 of Impossible Things, which yet again has just barely broken my record for longest chapter posted, and marks 100 000 words of the Crown of Night, has been published!
The epilogue, being the third and final chapter in this block of updates, will go up at some point next week along with a batch of story notes delving into some obscure details of the storyline. Of which there were quite many, as it turns out.

Y'know, every week I say to myself that I'm gonna write something interesting in the blog, dammit, and then every week I think that nobody else will find any of the things I'm thinking about then interesting at all.

A couple of days ago, The Crown of Night hit 100 likes, so congratulations to Star Swirl and Luna! I know 100 likes isn't very much in the grand scheme of things, but we always like a good reason to celebrate, right? So let's have some music! Give it up for Jason Webley.
I haven't done any of the EQD Writer's Training Grounds stuff. In fact I've never really tried writing from prompts. But since one of the prompts for the finale is right up my alley, I feel like I kind of have to.

I'm not sure when anything will actually go out anymore, but writing is happening. I wrote 3600 words of the next interlude chapter for Crown of Night, but something about it just doesn't sit right with me and I'm not sure what to do about it so I just moved on to the next proper chapter and started writing that instead. It now has close to 5k words and I actually feel really good about it... but it also seems like it's going to go on for a while, because apparently I can never decide on a
