Yup: I got recognized in the EFNW contest. Hurrah! I feel suitably successful.

I'm glad the rather odd tone I took in the story paid off. When writing, I think I had just finished looking at Stardust for the Goodfic Bin, and whilst it was certainly impressive, with Twilight being analysed by humans endlessly, I wanted to do, well, the opposite, and have everyone be instantly okay with it.

I felt this was worthy of a blog post. Also, new story came out: The Pony Next Door is a short 3K word thing about Celestia on a nice, relaxing trip to Earth. It was a real challenge trying to fit everything I wanted to in 3K words, but it's for the Everfree contest, and I have a word count limit. Here, 3000.

I'm really proud of it, too.
