Even now that magic has become commonplace, an unsuccessful business is still an unsuccessful business. But the magical geodes just might give Gloriosa the boost she needs to save Camp Everfree in her own way, much to Timber's dismay.

This fanfic is set in the same world as Oversaturation by FanOfMostEverything. I recommend you read that story before this one, otherwise some references could be confusing.

Timber Spruce barely seemed to react to the appearance of magic. Celestia investigates why.

Sunset Shimmer and her friends receive remarkable news: Princess Twilight is poised to become the queen of all Equestria! As the girls celebrate the invitation to their friend's upcoming coronation, Sunset's horrified to find that she's not just selflessly happy for her best friend. If not princesshood, what's she meant to do with her life anyway? What's her destiny in the human world?

As Equestrian Magic grows more powerful due to an ominous, inter-dimensional rip in space-time above Canterlot High, Sunset's friends are affected by a dangerous, new magic and she's left to wonder if she's done more harm here than good.

This story is a sequel to The Exes Club. Helpful, but not required reading. Themes and ideas introduced there are developed further here.

Of all Twilight's experiments, none have worried her mother as much as Timber Spruce.

Entry in the Writeoff Association's September 2019 contest, under the prompt "On the Verge." Edited by Dubs Rewatcher. Set in the same continuity as "...But It Often Rhymes."

When Twilight is having problems in her relationship with Timber Spruce regarding her sexuality Sunset helps set her mind straight and gives her a confidence boost. Maybe by the end of the night Twilight's mind will be the only thing that's still straight.

Throughout her entire time at CHS,Twilight has kept a secret since she arrived. A crush towards one friend that gave her everything she thought she didn't need in her life,Sunset Shimmer. Twilight wanted nothing more than to be in the arms of Sunset,but Sunset pushed her into the arms of another. So the secret stays hidden until she finally works up the courage to deal with it herself.

This is inspired by a song entitled KAILAN which is english for WHEN so it may be obvious as to what the story is about.

Twilight is curious with why Sunset meets Timber without her, denying that she follows along. So she decides to ask Sunset about it and the results that she gets is not exactly what she had expected.

 It's the beginning of the Main 7’s final year at CHS. Sunset has been doing very well after spending her summer with Twilight. One day after school she receives an important message from Princess Twilight regarding her family. But sadly Sunset’s answers don’t turn out as she hoped! She will learn the heartbreaking news that'll make her heart shatter like glass! Will her friends find out what is worrying her before she makes a terrible mistake or will be too late this time?
