Oh and I spotted a small typo "They youngest was nearly fifteen now" talking about Clover's age.

I've upvoted this before reading it... not because I know I'm going to like it (in that case I'd still want to read all the way through before committing a vote) but to try to fight back against the tide of people who downvote before reading, just because it's a Chatoyance story, just because it's a Conversion Bureau story.
Seriously, the voting system has long since ceased to be a measure of how good or bad a story is, and is now a measure of how much one is a target for trolls.
