The pace seems a little off. I dunno really. I take the story somewhat personal (though my experience is way different than Sunset's and probably not that bad). I find a weird comfort in emotional pain, and the story looks juuuust a little too fast to synchronize with my feelings-pace-whatever-I-have-no-idea-how-to-call-that. Which, of course, has nothing to do with you. But maybe my subjective POV might help to properly balance the pace, so the story feels more immersive. Unless it's not your intention at all and my comment is utterly useless.

They only sent someone one of the times I called and that was when I laid out what I was planning to do. I never went to the hospital but the state police did call me the next couple days to check up on me.
