Years after Anon appeared in Equestria, Sunset Shimmer used a spell to steal every human's names and special talents, to gain unrivaled magic powers. Now everybody's name is literally just ’Anon’. People aren't happy about losing their names.
And Twilight can't use her magic, after the Elements of Harmony turned into the Elements of Anonymity.
Using what they learned from the otherworldly Anon, a nerdy Anon plans to stop Sunset Shimmer, with the help of a group of five friends.

Sorry, I'm confused. Was that meant as a comment on someone else's story?
Regardless, thanks for the favorite.
I always find the 'Equestria doesn't have alcohol' fanon to be strange, Applejack is literally named after a kind of hard liquor (applejack is distilled cider, essentially apple brandy) and the cider shown in the show is absolutely alcoholic.
I'm aware of all those things. I'd chosen that setting for the Equestria Girls universe in this story because I found it funnier as another difference between universes that would annoy Anon.
(And Equestria Girls takes place with high schoolers while Friendship is Magic main characters are adults. (EDIT: there's fizzy apple cider in the first EQG movie, though that seemed more like a carbonated soft drink)

Thanks for the clarification and complements about my story about Anon A. Muss
If there is a sequel, will Solid Anon and Liquid Anon appear?

I don't think there was a Gas Anon. There might have been a hot air Anon depending on how you see the story.
That sounds like a funny premise for a story: "Everything changed when the Fire Anon attacked" (well-known quote from (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

(Image caption: "I used to wonder what friendship could be, but that all changed when the fire nation attacked")
This is one of my favorite Anon stories that I've read in the last I don't even know how many months.
There! That's a fair comment imho.
Um...good use of the Anon mythos!
