    Introducing Snarkcast!

Fairly recently, The Barcast had its final episode. The Barcast was an iconic part of Fimficton and will be sorely missed by many. People may try to replicate what it did, but the truth is, trying to replicate what The Barcast did in the modern fandom is like Sisyphus pushing the boulder uphill. The Barcast came at the right and had the right group of people. Its presence persisted for long

    I lowered the donation goal

Scary stuff going on rn · 12:39am February 29th

The part of Texas that I live in is currently experiencing the 2nd worst wildfire disaster, and growing. Over 850,000 acres have been burned, and several towns/cities close to me have been evacuated. The fire's spread slowed down, just as it was about to hit a neighboring city, although an entire subdivision was forced to evacuate.

The fire is visible from my hometown.

At the moment, my area is safe. However, if the wind were to pick up and blow in my direction, it could force an evacuation. I thankfully live on the opposite end of the city, so if we're forced to evacuate there's hope that the fire won't touch my apartment.

Still, the governor of Texas has issued a Disaster Declaration. Over 200 people have lost their homes, and a total of one life has been reported lost.

The good news is that we're expected to get some snow this week. This will hopefully quell the fire.
