    Speaking of "Death From Above"...

This old guy fell and mashed the north pasture fence like a bug. At just about the time I was publishing chapter 15 of TCP, too. Coincidence or Aliens? :trixieshiftright:

    Irresponsible and Loving It

There were a lot of things I should have worked on this weekend, and this collection wasn't one of them, but at least I got something done:

    Down Belowdecks

"Down belowdecks" is not only a vague nautical location, but also a euphemism for feeling like hot garbage. This post covers both. If you don't want to read my whinging, skip to below the page break for some pictures of Nebula's nether regions.

Reading Order for The Alicorn Adventures

Several people have asked about this, probably because I've written these things out of order. So, here is what I would recommend:

    The Celestia Code
    The Luna Cypher
    The Twilight Enigma
    On the Rocks
    The Quest
    Tales from Twilight Town
    The Cadenza Prophecies
    The Skyla Pseudonym

Update to the Glossary · 6:20pm May 9th

As expected, sharp-eyed readers have spotted several errors and typos in the glossary for The Cadenza Prophecies and I have gone about fixing them. Nothing noteworthy there, but I also made a major overhaul to one of the illustrations that only served to explain one term. Now it is much more useful:

I am impressed. Though less so than I would have been had you also marked Twilight's sternum.

...it's too warm here for a coat, sorry.

:raritywink:

Whereas "aft expression" is a terrible thing to say a mare has.

'Stern Expression' gave me a good laugh, but I agree with Logan.
I always imagine alicorns with especially fluffy chests, so I feel Twi's sternum deserves a honorary mention here.

I'm guessing it probably had one of the actual ship parts before, but it's funnier to picture it originally only having "stern expression" and so I shall continue to think such.

"Stern expression" lol

If you are going down that route, then I suppose better stern than consternated.

I'm consterned that there are no sternstairs or sterndoors to access the sterngallery?

iisaw #11 · May 10th · · ·

Access is through one of the four windows! (No kidding.) [At least for flightless creatures.]

5780043
iisee ...

5780067
iisee what you did there! :facehoof: :rainbowlaugh: :moustache:

5780043
So, after Rawboned Mari and the Zarabian military attacked, was anypony able to squeeze through those windows or fly around the sterngallery to save the planters, or were the Nebulas stuck with older food stores after Fluttershy rammed Nebula into Viper?

5780144
Unfortunately, the planters went overboard then. :ajsleepy: Another set also froze when Nebula did her crash assent over the Dragon's Teeth range, and there was a horrible sandstorm in Mareocco that practically abraded away the whole crop. Applejack is brilliant with plants, but she can't work miracles under all conditions.

iisaw, yousaw, we all saw for iisaw! :trollestia:

I can't help but notice that Captain Blackmane here lacks any distinguishing headgear. Perhaps a bicorne for the naval unicorn?

5780612
She has one, but I haven't modeled it yet! A bicorn is traditional, but Twi became concerned about the terminology. Adding a bicorn would make her a tricorn, right? Spike calmed her down with a nice cup of tea, but she still had nightmares involving pirassoipi that night, so she decided to go with a fancy sort of slouch hat instead.

5780613
Pirassoipi have two horns, so clearly anything but a hat with a single point should keep Twilight safe. Logically, and all. Avoiding wearing a tricorne so as not to become a two-headed pirassoippos would just be silly. But tricornes are more infantry headgear anyway. Maybe donate one to Tempest, for science and peace of mind?

5780617
I think Tempest would look good in a tricorn, but then she's the sort of mare that would look good in almost anything. :raritywink:

"STERN EXPRESSION"
:D

How is the sternboard held on?

5782782

"How is the sternboard held on?"

Two big bolts through the transom.

5782804
Ahh, thanks. That makes sense for something removable but still solid enough to take the life of a sky pirate ship, I think.
