I don't want to bitch about my problems too much. But I did want to say that to the few people waiting on me for editing... I'm almost done. I'm going to sink today into Enter Madness's Star-Crossed (which I just realized I hadn't favorited... odd), because I'm confident I can get through that in the time I've got today. Then tomorrow will be a pretty hefty editing day because I'll mostly be free, and so I'll try to clear up everything else I've not yet had a chance to get to on that day.
With luck, this will be the last of my delays. I apologize profusely, and thank you all for bearing with me.

I have to totally agree with you on this. I have a few stories to edit myself, and life just seems to get in the way of them.
On a side note, here's a wonderful image of how Mother Nature can be such a callous bitch. Spring? Nope! Have some snow! I swear sometimes...

930997 No, it's about that Fleur story that got featured. It has GLARING problems (go read it, it'll break your mind) and yet somehow got featured. It's basically a carbon copy of ArmedBrony's story... except without the good. So I told him to go talk to the admins about it, since it's pretty clearly a plagiarism which sucks a truckload of dick. It'll probably go nowhere, but... hey. Making noise. Why not.
And if you'd rather have me return to the PMs first, I can do that.

I was thinking about spinning this out into a trilogy, originally because I could use the middle bit as a journey across America and set the finale in New Vegas. However, since all the worthwhile stuff in FNV would only really be awesome as viewed through the Courier's eyes, I kinda want to scrap that idea. My new finale setting could potentially be New Orleans. I figure that could be amusing, no?

Either/or. My point was that I feel entirely casual about the entire story review thing since as far as this site is concerned, Game of Worlds is going to be the focus of my effort until complete. It's the more popular, it's better-written, it has all the Best Ponies being absolutely Best, and I get to bring in more characters from my headcanon for lulz and fun.

931130 ...trust me, Ally, you really don't want to get to Game of Worlds all that quickly. 112k words and growing, although I will eventually need translation assistance. I got a great, and rather kind, review from the ECS guy arandompenguin but he listed problems without even a hint of where they could be found, so the review was nice and objective but useless.
It's impossible to break my mind anymore. After all, I read "Not Now" and Fallout Equestria all the way through.
(I'm joking about "Not Now" being horrible, just in case that needs to be said). But I'll plow through it in time. First indications are that you're precisely right about it, although the differences so far will make it insanely hard to convince the admins that this is plaugerism.

931219 I'll probably read it all the way through myself without doing an extensive commentary, sort of like what I did with FWTN originally. I'll make a shortlist of the issues raised by that reviewer and keep it handy as I read, and anytime I pick up on what he's talking about I'll let you know. It'll be a decently long process, but sooner or goddamn later my schedule should absolutely break open into freedom land and I'll have nothing but time to read and write and edit and do whatever the fuck I want.
