The plan for the rest of the year 2014

Happy Saturday all.

This is American_Brony typing to you all today with some news and information from not just I, but also from the rest of the Extended Holiday writing Team.

So, this last week. Let's see we got Chapter 37 done, and posted. We have started and are, well I think three fourths of the way done. However do not quote me on that. However thanks to having to work late on both Thanksgiving and Black Friday, and being bushed after both shifts. I will say this. Chapter 38 shall be delayed. Do not worry it shall be posted something next week, however do not expect it any sooner than Tuesday.

Now, as to what comes after Chapter 38. Well, let us look. We have over thirty chapters that need to be edited. The Holiday season is upon us, Finals are approaching for some of the writers and our editor. Family vacations and trips and visits are planned. Time constraints as well. So, I am here to announce that Extended Holiday shall be taking its first break. Which in actuality might be a slightly ironic wording. Do not despair, Extended Holiday shall return after the New Year. Please note that we shall not be just letting this gather dust. We have more plot points to mark out. Finalize more items, Put together what order we want to put things in. House keeping tasks.

Though I would like to say that in fact a year ago the month of December we started the first discussions of Extended Holiday. Yes, based on counting the planning and discussion stage. Extended Holiday began to take root right around this time last year. A lot has happened over the last year that I am happy with and pleased as punch to see the growth. Hence the break. We need to give our editor time to go back and edit Chapter 1 through 10 at least... as all writers would say. Chapter 1 is the hardest to write, and now that we have what we want. We can make the chapter better, so look forward to that.

Now the edited chapters shall be posted after they are finished so do not worthy you all shall have little updates over the day. Maybe more then once a day. I cannot guarantee anything. Also, as it was brought up in a comment in our story. In the last week with distractions and all we have over 18,000 words written.

That is another reason why it will be after Monday. We want to wrap up this war arch before we take our break. We do not want to leave you hanging too much. So yes, we may just have one of our long chapters. However I am hoping we do not end up breaking the chapter up like we did with the Canterlot trip. Yes a fun fact buried in this blog.

Before we split the chapter up, it was 47,032 words long. So we split them up and turned them into what you now know as The Colour of Noble Blood and The Reason We Don't Visit.

So, hopefully this chapter will not have to be split up. But I shall not guarantee anything.

As for the Characters? Well, while the writers rest, they too shall be resting at a nice tropical beach in Equestria that I was surprised even existed. Then again with all the shenanigans they get up to, I am not going to be surprised if they found it by magic, time travel, and breaking the fourth wall or even a combination of all the above. Frankly after these last few chapters they deserve it. They need it. We all need it.
