Pony Fantasy X and X-2 Revoked/Cancelled · 5:06am May 9th, 2016
Well, this is going to be a sad first blog for me. Sadly, as the title says it all, Pony Fantasy X and X-2 were revoked because of novelization of Final Fantasy X and X-2...
Boy do I hate the rules of plagiarism, especially when I wanted to make a story that could be entertaining for readers who were fans of the game and wish to see who would be what character...I clearly put in the disclaimer on the long description, and the first one along with the second one were both revoked, Pony Fantasy X NOW revoked because of it when it was clear for a month since the posted date.
So, for those of you who have followed me for these stories, liked and favorited them, I'm sorry to say they are cancelled since I don't want to mess around with the stories to "fix" them and the legalities of them. Clearly, there were some other crossover stories that I looked over that seemed to have a similar idea like mine, keeping a story and replacing all the characters with ponies, same enemies and environments, names of locations, etc., and theirs are still up and updating. I do know the story isn't mine. I'm not stealing anything for profit. All that legal stuff that gets people in trouble and blah, blah, blah.
Sorry again for this, but maybe the next story I'm making right now won't have that problem since it's a character, from a game, stuck in Equestria, following the show's story through the episodes starting at season 1. Thank you to those who liked Pony Fantasy X and X-2 after only three chapters I posted, one of them including the prologue, and again, I apologize for those who read this.

It is not your fault that you cancelled your stories...
I Was looking forward to some more of your story...But those bloody rules prevent us from finishing it. and cause of this, We're forced to either cancel our stories or delete them. I Hope you don't delete "Pony Fantasy X". But if there was an "unavoidable" moment where you [HAVE] to delete it, we will understand why...
Do any of these people understand that "We Don't Own Anything" Mean anything to them anymore and we only do this for fun and creativity?
Pony Fantasy X & X-2 was a good run, but it's time to close the story huh?

It's just like with YouTubers getting strikes because of their content being copyrighted, especially with reactors. It's for entertainment, and we all know we don't own whatever we show. I know we have to follow the rules of plagiarism, but if it's something that other people are entertained by, then why the hell do they have to be taken down/kicked out??? That just ruins both viewers and potential fans for whatever is shown or written.
I mean, there was one Final Fantasy/MLP crossover fic on here that's based around Final Fantasy VI, which pretty much followed the same idea my two fics did, yet that's still up after a few years, and was recently updated with another chapter. I may be upset at the ridiculous novelization plagiarism, but not at the creator of this incredible fic. It's actually really good, from what I had last read, and it follows the story of Final Fantasy VI with ponies replacing the characters and locations of the Final Fantasy world.
Oh well. Legal systems are always biased and only care about pointing out small flaws that want them to get rid of something that could be beneficial for the official owners of something.

I remember that there was another Final Fantasy X Story on FIMFiction called: "Sins of Our Mothers" by Hextechnician".
He or She Never finished the story since Sept. 2013, it only has two chapters and it's been put on a hiatus ever since. Rainbow Dash is also playing the role of "Tidus", Soaring is playing as "Auron" and the "Gen 1 Pony: Firefly" as "Jecht". You are indeed Right that there are other "Final Fantasy" Related stories, but most of them are never finished.
And Since you asked if I was a "Square-Enix" fan, Indeed I am. I like Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts, They are two of my "Favorite RPG games". One of the Reasons Why I Joined FIMFiction is to read any Stories that relates to Kingdom Hearts, it helps me to feel inspired to write my own, but I need to acquire the right typing-software to write one. In fact there is one story I'm currently reading, a Kingdom Hearts Story featuring Twilight Sparkle. Tell me have you read a Story Called "Road to Twilight" by "ShadowBrony"?
3933614 I had read that story! But I lost track of it on my older laptop before I made an account. I saved my favorites in the favorites file of my browser folder, and I forgot which ones I actually saved because of a dumb mistake I made that lead to my laptop to freak out and not work right. But it doesn't really matter. The darn lighting for the screen crapped out, and it's like 6-7 years old.
As for writing out stuff, you don't really need a good typing software. Before, I always used wordpad and triple check my spelling and grammer before finishing a chapter. I'd like to see what stories you can come up with...provided you don't get blasted with legal craps. Just as long as the stories are mostly involved with MLP, the world and characters, and not a lot of stuff from other copyrighted stuff, then you could be safe. Always gotta read them rules before making something cooooool.
Or have selfish law abiders just post claims because they can.

3934105 It's nice to see that you also like to read "Road to Twilight". I really like the idea of twilight going to alternate versions of equestrian based of the stories from other famous authors, such as: "Pen Stroke, Kkat, etc". Did you also read the stories that appeared in "Road to Twilight" such as: Past Sins, Fallout Equestria"?
To be honest...I've been using Word-pad as my writing program as a substitute until I've decided which software I should use. I Written some, double check on my writing and had some of my family to read and give me their opinions. They said it was good, but is it good to other readers on the net? Also have you seen any of those "Displaced" Stories going around FIMFiction?

I've been trying to get around to it, but it felt like there was something in between his latest sequel and the previous story that got me confused. But oh well. Love Past Sins. Love Nyx. She's adorable.

And to answer your question on other readers who read your fics if you post them...Well, have you seen my likes/dislikes for my first one I posted: "Rise of the Alicorn Prince"? So many dislikes, and quite possibly because of the dark tone I gave it. At least there were some people who liked it, and you can't win them all with what you make.
