Journal Entry - Volume 2 - Chapter 7 · 2:38am May 26th, 2019
Dear Diary,
We’ve returned to Ponyville on the train. All of us hated to do it, but we went straight to Derpy’s house and… and told her the bad news. All except Rarity. She had something else to do.
Knocking, we explained what we had discovered on our trip. Sadly, we admitted that in the long run, there wasn’t any actual progress made! Rarity arrived with a present for Derpy, her repaired magic cloak, and some new clothes for Arc. As she put them in his room, Rarity returned with a letter addressed to the lady of the house!
Apparently, Arc had written down a few things that I can only assume he had wanted us to know upon his… death, I suppose. He left the passcode for his chest… to Derpy! Opening it she found enough bits to support herself for quite some time and a baby blanket for Dinky! That was really sweet of Arc! To leave his money to a stranger whom he didn’t even know!
Here’s where things start to get weird! The light from the sun along with any other light source started to go out! I know it sounds impossible, but somepony has apparently mastered Time Magic! This… creature appeared and even spoke to us! It said Arc is alive and needs our help! Derpy was given a crystal that can supposedly lower the barrier around Tartarus for a short time!
Hopefully we’re on the right track! Hold on just a bit longer Arc!
Help may come from the strangest of individuals. Don’t disregard someone just because they look or act different. You may be pushing away your last hope!
