My god, I am so sorry everybody. This bastard took MONTHS to finished. I had no idea the entire world was going to catch fire between this chapter and the last one.
I finally sat down this morning and said to myself, "You can sleep when you're done." and four thousand words later, I'm headed to bed.
For the editors...Yes, I'm aware there are typos. Please by gentle and use lots of lube. I was not fully conscious when writing the ending.
I'm going to finish Starlight Over Detrot in as timely a fashion as possible. The finale alone has turned out to be the length of some books, which boggles me, but I think it was necessary to get everything right for each of the four leads.
I hope it's as good for you to read as it was in my head. Taxi is a tough character to write and getting her solid was hard. When this is all over, I'll be sad as can be to put these characters away.
Still, there will be more books. I'm not done writing and I'm probably not even done with MLP. Gen 5 is coming, eventually, and I intend to be there for it, pen in hand.

I don't think you need to be too worried about speed when you've got stamina like that!
You keep apologising for delays: I honestly don't understand why. I think we all understand good work takes time, and your work is never anything less than the best. The other thing is on a fanfiction site, we all read at your leisure. You don't owe us anything. So relax, live. And if you find time to write for us, then cheers.
