First and foremost, I apologize for being so absent. Between my work-a-holic tendencies and a severe case of writer's block, I managed to not make any real progress until very recently. But now, after 4 years after my last related chapter upload and 1 year after my last upload in general, I've finally managed to post an update to the story. A story, which you may have noticed, has a new title.
The reason for the change in title is twofold. Primarily, I didn't choose Sex and Relaxation, and I was never quite comfortable with it to begin with. Winter Heat was my original choice many years back and I still feel that it is more fitting. Second, while I'm not averse to explicit content within the story itself, I feel like having it in the title primes a reader's expectations in ways that I didn't intend. I feel like the new title adds more soul and is closer to the spirit of the story I want to tell, rather than indicative of cheap smut.
I may be making some edits to the previous chapters in the coming weeks for the sake of making the tone more in line with my vision for the story. I also have a decent amount of ideas for chapters moving forward, and while I won't make any timeline promises, I fully intend to finish this story sooner rather than later.
One thing is for certain, I have not lost my passion for the flying rainbow pony. As the fandom consolidates, I will be here spreading the love of Rainbow Dash and keeping her memory alive! If I have my way, there will be many more stories to come.
