If you were looking at the shirts I sell...

... they're about to go away. My shirt printer is retiring, and I have no replacement.

After May 5 I'm going to take down the online order links on my little business's online store, and after this summer I'll clear out of whatever shirts I have left.

So if you'd noticed any of these before, now's effectively the last chance.

Not back to KSP yet, but I did do some space stuff.

I haven't touched KSP since my early experience with KSP2 was a combination of glitchy game and impossible-to-read UI. I've been thinking about it here and there, but I've had other things to do.

But that doesn't mean I'm not doing space stuff, and yesterday I finally edited and posted a video of such.

    My muse is nagging me.

I've done very little writing the past five months, partly due to being busy, but mostly due to recurring headaches when it's writing time.

I have a couple weeks off, and I'm going to try to make time to get back on my projects (the Octavia story and novelizing Peter is the Wolf). But my mind... well... it's trying to jump ahead, or possibly back.

    Life imitates art...

So, a privately built and operated space probe became the first US lander to soft-land on the Moon last week- Odysseus.

Say Goodbye to Game Streaming, Hello to More Livewriting · 2:18am Sep 20th, 2022

Well, as I fully expected, nobody voted to say they supported my game or sim-racing videos (or, by extension, the game streams).

So- those are mostly over now. I'm only going to make videos when I have something clearly in mind, or when something unusual happens when sim-racing (I'm not giving that up, on my own time anyway).

But I've been experimenting with streaming and then with making game videos for two years now. I've learned a bit about video editing, but I haven't found any real regular audience, and in the process I've lost a lot of Patreon support by wasting time and energy that could have gone into what you really wanted- writing.

So- the new program, henceforth, is this: 7 PM Central is WRITING TIME.

https://twitch.tv/redneckgaijin

If I'm home and not otherwise committed to something (like, for example, picking up merchandise later), I will do a live-writing stream on Twitch for at least ninety minutes a night. Any games will come AFTER that point and AFTER I've run out of steam for that particular bit of writing, if they come at all.

And, furthermore, it'll be whatever I feel like playing to relax- not necessarily what makes good Twitch/YouTube content. I'm not going to waste hours planning for game streams- I'm just going to do stuff once the actual work is over.

Hopefully dropping this stuff (and video editing, in particular, is a MAJOR job that can eat DAYS of my time and energy) will give me back the concentration and energy to get writing again.

(And yes, a lot if not most of the writing will be ponies, although I am pondering a sort of ripoff of Isekai Quartet called Isekai Book Club, because of a bit of Twitter exchange I did with the creator of El Goonish Shive some weeks back...)

I look forward to catching your writing streams.

I really enjoy your writing, especially CSP and the Maretian :)

Must admit totally missed that you do streams (then again - that is per usual for me, I somehow manage to live under a rock in that regard) am looking forward to take a peek, though might need to do so via archives.

5687589 The YouTube edited versions are much better quality- my bandwidth really wasn't good enough for streaming.

Any idea about a Crossover with Bubblegum Crisis?
