HAPPY SUNSET SHIMMER!

Sunset Shimmer has been keeping a secret from her friends for a long time: When she was turned back from a she-demon, not all of her power was extinguished. It laid dormant, waiting for a moment to re-emerge and take control once more. For months, Sunset Shimmer has remained strong, holding it at bay and keeping it locked deep within herself.

Yet, no cage or lock is unbreakable and some locks can't be so easily fixed once broken...

The sirens have been stopped. Sunset Shimmer has earned her ears, a sign that her redemption has been confirmed by Harmony itself. Everything's great, right?

In the wake of Camp Everfree and the latest in a long line of raging she-demons, Sunset’s dreams lead her down a familiar path of memories. She’s never been one to pass up an opportunity; it’s high time to ask a question that’s been bothering her since the Friendship Games.

That’s the plan, anyway. One of the many problems with seeking wisdom from demons is that you get far more than what you wanted to know.

So, that demon version of Sunset that appeared during the Fall Formal? Turns out she isn't dead. Apparently, she's still well and alive, but the catch is, only Sunset can see her, and living with a literal demon that follows you almost everywhere you go is not very fun. In fact, it's actually extremely annoying.

Sunset Shimmer is having a really weird night and she can’t make heads or tails of it.

This story is a sequel to My Little Planeswalker: Twilight's Spark

After several months without hearing anything from Princess Twilight, Sunset Shimmer's once-unshakable faith in her friendship begins to falter. Then when an unknown party destroys the portal between worlds, she soon finds herself awakening her planeswalker spark in a moment of anguish.

Arriving on an idyllic plane where different aspects of the soul are brought forth by day and night, Sunset soon finds the very foundation of her identity fractured. The Sunset that returns to Equestria is not herself, but a monster long thought to have vanished, seeking revenge for everything she had lost.

Sunset Shimmer has always been influenced by both Daydream Shimmer and Demon Sunset ever since the Friendship Games. But because of a magic mishap, Sunset's brain gets jumbled leaving Daydream and Demon both in complete charge of Sunset, while the two have to make it seem like everything is normal!

...While also trying to find a way to get Sunset back.
This is going to be difficult.
