Its an interesting concept you have here.
The philosophy you want to tell is quite cool.
But the story feels... no, not rushed, more a bit forced. I mean wether Scootaloo nor Miss Cheerilee are described this complex, so its not wrong. The thoughts of Cheerilee while her wandering through the storm felt a bit unnatural at this point. As the conversation between her and Scoots.
This story feels, if you - the author - wants to tell me - the reader - something. Not as Scoots naturally wants to tell Cheerilee something.
I hope you get, what I mean, as I can't touch it properly myself.
But besides this, its a touching piece of writing you have done here. So take my upvote
I pretty much agree with Pankrazius. I want to learn more about Scoots and cheerilee in this story but it was kind of touching so have an upvote.
That was a touching story. Just the feels. Although, I think Cheerilee is happy with her job, but this is your story. Plus the feels cancel out that fact.
