I admit though, I should have seen Scootaloo, and her Aunts coming a mile off. Maybe I was half-hoping it'd be someone different, a change up from the norm. Not complaining though.

Scootaloo is lucky. All of the Mane Six and at least one background pony have been her guardian in at least one universe. When her caretakers aren’t ponies, she’s usually adopted by average-joes from HiEs or badasses from crossovers. I’d say that my favorite Scootadoption is where her father is freakin’ Vaati.

This is a cute story...
On the plus side, I like the idea... I'm a sucker for Sunset!Family fics, and I really like Scoota!Family fics too. I haven't seen this pair yet as siblings, so the promise of it really appealed.
Not exactly cons but... It feels really rushed? Like, the concept is great, and I get that you wanted to finish this for a contest, but you could have done so much more with this story. The characters keep repeating the exact same thing over and over, and then another character comes in and reinforces it. There's tension, but it suffers from something that ultimately puts down any story: everyone just accepts things, everything flows so nicely and positively... there's little to no conflict of any sort. And yeah, I get that the story's aim is not that, precisely, but it leaves the story wanting.
Overall, good idea, but it could really be a lot more even as a short story.

As D noted, this does get redundant at times, and it could've used another proofreading pass or two. And there's the question of why only Sunset's analogue had a different name. (So Dr. Twister wouldn't freak out about his older daughter rising from the dead and not knowing about it until her wedding, of course, but the lone exception to the cosmic parallels bothers me something fierce.)
Still, this was an enjoyably sweet story. Best of luck in the contest.

Despite the ending caught me off guard and how scootaloo was Sunset's sister I enjoyed this story very much. Might even make my own version of this but with a character who isn't from mlp fim and is Sunset's sister. That's gonna happen for another time but I'm glad I got to read this story and see how great it was.
Why Rarity wouldn't Pinkie Pie make more sense for this part. Are you trying to imply that they're together, I don't mind I actually find that shape very cute in this world but I'm just confused
