A touching tale of longing and seeking new purpose after the end. Wonderful work. Thank you for it and best of luck in the judging.

An excellent bit of SF, with ponies and friendship / love added.

Also, the spammer's been reported.

Ooh, that was nice!

Looks like friendship is optimal for starships, too. :raritywink:

Christ, that hit me like a punch in the gut. Short, sweet, and powerful. Well done.

Hello, fellow contestant! Your friendly neighborhood Hat Man, here!

This was excellent. Creative, moving, and making excellent use of its non-human (well, non-equine) protagonists. While this is one of a great many escape into the dreamworld stories I've seen before, the conceit of it being a sort of "retirement" for these vessels is a particular twist I haven't seen before.

I do wish that the "cost" of what Relentless/Grace gave up was perhaps a bit more tangible, given her apparent resistance to it, but I can't say I wasn't touched by the story, especially as someone who adores artificial beings as protagonists. Great job on this!
