Does anyone else have the issue of being given a shopping list by your mom/dad and not being able to read it? Or asking a parent to proofread a paper, and you get it back with what looks like a bunch of random scribbles on it?

I'm genuinely curious. Am I the only one? And, is there a way to politely ask a parent to go back to school to fix their illegible attempt at written communication?
