Don't... read too much into the title, or do.
The proprietor of the series known as 'Sweet Special-Nothings'. Well known for the story Hop, Skip, and a Jump! And First Date. Also wrote the Conversion Bureau tale, A Mare's Tail.
Don't... read too much into the title, or do.
haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.
I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.
TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.
Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it when I came back.)
I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.
So as expected, I added a lot of horsewords to the fic, and ended up splitting two chapters into three to help with the reading flow. It definitely merited it. So yeah, I guess that's the first new chapter of The Literary Appeal in four years. Have fun dear readers - my style of writing may have changed, so mixing these three chapters with heavy renditions may help the flow into the new chapters. Also this is a funny graphic.
Today is technically Thursday, but not in Alaska or Hawaii, so you know... still Wednesday somewhere.
TLA update at the end.
So as I was doing some traveling for a wedding, my car broke down. So I spent what remainder I had to fix it because, hey, a guy has to be able to drive the 6+ hours to get home somehow.
Been thinking about the old crazes of the old brony fandom - Fallout Equestria, Behind-The-Scenes(fics that would provide perspective of ponies who are off-camera during episodes), and The Conversion Bureau. For those not in the know, The Conversion Bureau(TCB) was originally a hackneyed concept full of wish fulfillment of the Ponies and Equestria barging into our world by some means and basically offering to turn people into ponies, and... yeah. Now, many good authors and also myself did fics
So here's the deal. I've had surgery recently and I've found myself with a lot of free time as I'm not allowed to go back to work until the end of the month. So I'm going to finish The Literary Appeal. The goal is to finish it this month.
