Been awhile since I've surfaced here, hasn't it?
As time goes on, I'm beginning to think I should have been drawing ponies this whole time instead of stressing myself out over fanfiction—and yes, writing fanfiction does stress me out. Heck writing anything has been stressing me out more than it should lately.
But get this, it's not only writing fanfiction that's been stressing me, but reading fanfiction as well. And it gets worse.
...and that's because I've been living in a box. Seriously, it's starting to get cramped. They didn't put air holes in this thing, either.
Everfree Northwest, so they tell me, is a huge convention for brony writers, which made me very sad when I learned its schedule would not align with my own. Instead of feeling lonely and sad, I, along with a few fellow writers in the nearby area, decided to form our own convention this past Saturday so that we could share our sadness, write ponyfics, and generally agree that our tiny convention was waaaay better than Everfree.
Oh yes, as the title of this blog post implies, it has happened again!
So now presumably you're reading to find out what "it" is.
Well...
My title was misleading, "it" includes a number of things:
Judging by my fairly limited life experiences thus far, I'd say I'm a very visual person. Learning a skill comes easiest to me when I can picture whatever the heck I'm learning in a physical sense.
Seriously, where the heck did it go?
Not a whole lot of buildup to Christmas this year for me, but certainly more anticipation for New Year's (a.k.a giving 2016 a well-deserved kick out the door). With all that's happened this year, it smells like 2016 left a terrible fart lingering in the air, and we'll be fanning out the room for the rest of 2017.
Drawing has become an alternate creative outlet for me to express my love for the show.
Cons: It distracts me from writing new things.
Not too long ago my Buick LeSabre acquired the uncanny ability to pass by menially interesting things. Right when I was peering out my passenger window, the car in front of me decided to introduce its rear end to my car's front side.
Yeah, the accident was my own stupid fault.
