Future for the Tall Tale Mountain Short Line · 11:19pm Nov 4th, 2022
Ah Tall Tale, the little town in the hills with the big railway. I've always had fun writing stories about this little made up corner of a made up world, and as I'm sure many have noticed with the three short stories released over the last month. Some of you will be happy to hear that these three stories will not be the end of continued writing for the ponies of the Smokey Mountains. I have plans for much more story telling with my favorite railroad crews, but sadly it will not be any time in the near future, or with as much frequency as has been seen in the last month, as two out of three of those stories had been side projects for months now.
With all that being said, this is the current plan for releases in the Tall Tale series. Tall Tales From Tall Tale, my little short story series that I use for lore and world building, will continue with four further installments currently planned. There may eventually be more, but these four are the only set in stone ideas I currently have. I will let you all speculate the stories involved from their titles, no spoilers for now heh.

Now as I feel I have mentioned before, these little shorts are not the proper sequel to the original story of Dual Bands Of Steel Through The Hills, that will be it's own stand out multi chapter story, much like the first. Work has not yet been started on this story yet, but the main setup for the story is planned out. (which is more than can be said for the original as I really had no plan for that and it kinda bit me towards the end) Like the short stories there is not currently a release timeline for this sequel but I do plan to start work on it in the near future, and it will hopefully see its first chapter in the first half of next year. If real life and my little side project don't get in the way. Said side project does pertain to the Tall Tale Railway, and will be explained in another blog post later this weekend. With all that being said, I hope to see you guys down the tracks for the future installments of Tall Tales From Tall Tale, and the future sequel,
