Of course, this birthday is a little more melancholy seeing as how it's the first one since I lost my father last year.

A week ago, I finally managed to get my newest story, "Beach Beauties", up. And I must say, I'm impressed with the reception it has received in that time, considering the time of year it came out in. True, it didn't exactly take the site by storm (so few stories do), but it has gotten a nice turn out, even being on the 'Featured' stories list for a bit (only half a day, but still).
Of course, like any good author, I'd like my story to receive more, so I'm hoping that more people will come check it out. Of course, if you want the full affect I was hoping for, it might be best to save it away until next Summer. I'll probably be promoting the story around that time.
In any case, here's hoping my newest story will end up being as hot as I was hoping!
