The Final Chapter of Ash and Pikachu

After 25 years of Pokémon anime, Ash Ketchum’s journey is over. The end of an era is coming for the Pokémon franchise. Ever since I was a little kid, I watched the Pokémon series from the very start and I stuck with them through the ups and downs and it is sad to see them go. Ash and Pikachu made the impossible and I am seriously going to miss them so much. But don’t worry, we will all hope that Ash and his partner, Pikachu, will return someday, not as main protagonists, but as supporting protagonists to help a new generation of Pokémon trainers.

Speaking of the new generation, the Pokémon anime will continue in Gen 9 and it will explore a whole new region, new locations, new Pokémon, new characters, and new discoveries that will await them. I can’t wait for what’s in store for Pokémon. So for now, thank you Ash and Pikachu for all the hard work that you have done for the Pokémon world and for journeying with us, the fans, after so long and inspiring us all to become the best of our selves like no one ever was

I hear you. I practically grew up with Ash Ketchum and Pikachu. Sadly, they've gone now. But, it had to happen. No matter what happens, Ash will always be our favourite trainer.
