New story is coming out soon. Think I'll post the first chapter, or rather part 1 of an arc, on February 4th then continue to post another part every Saturday until the story is finished.
This one is a return to an old formula. It actually is an extension of a specific chapter of the first story I posted on fimfiction, and that is from Sky Dancer, The First Flying Unicorn. More specifically an extension of chapter 17: Adventures in the Tardis. In that chapter, Feather Wind recaps to his daughter Star Breeze about his amazing adventures he had earlier in his life to help inspire her and help her to grow. That chapter basically gives a synopsis of what happened in the two years he traveled with The Doctor, but now this new story coming out is a closer elaboration on those adventures. It can be thought of as a bedtime story he may have told his daughter in the future by going over something he basically recapped through before, but now he's going into more detail.
However, this story is being told in the present tense rather than past tense and there is no flashback from the future this time. The Adventures of the Tardis will occur to Feather in the right now moment instead.
Since this is a shorter story, I had more confidence that I can finish it. However, it'll also be episodic. Each new adventure takes place in its own various arcs, just like the original Doctor Who, and classic Doctor Who in particular were multiple episodes all told the story of a single arc/adventure of the Doctor before moving on to the next one. This is the formula I am thinking to present with this series. If I make any more, I'll add them here to this story but each arc will be listed with its own name then the name of the various parts of it after that.
This is a crossover series between MLP gen4 and Doctor Who. It involves 3 OC's I made for Sky Dancer as well as the Doctor and Derpy. Reading Sky Dancer is not required, but there will be spoilers for that story as early as the first part of this new story because it is a continuation from chapter 16 of Sky Dancer and eventually onward.
Frankly, it's nice to return home with the familiar and original characters I created for this franchise and the series that I love. It's kind of also a love letter to another series that helped me get started with both franchises, and that is Ponies with Pockets Doctor Whooves and Assistant.
