THIS IDIOT. THIS GUY. OH MY GOD. For those who're too lazy to click the hyper link or can't for other reasons, there was a school shooting on Friday, 14, December, 2012. About 20~ kids, 5~10, were killed, along with 5~ adults, and the killer himself. This politician, Mike Huckabee, pretty much said, and I quote,
We ask why there is violence in our schools, but we have systematically removed God from our schools," Huckabee said on Fox News. "Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage?"
"We don't have a crime problem, a gun problem or even a violence problem. What we have is a sin problem," Huckabee said on Fox News. "And since we've ordered God out of our schools, and communities, the military and public conversations, you know we really shouldn't act so surprised ... when all hell breaks loose."
I don't think much needs to be said here. I'm just going to go ahead and take my medication. I need not be upset right now.

religion is the problem IMO. If everyone just dropped religion and just believed in God alone then there wouldn't be a problem as for the religious reason. As for the school shooting thing, he is a complete idiot. Whether or not religion is in school or not isn't the problem. It's the fact that people are idiots when they become depressed and think going on a killing spree and then offing themselves is a way to make a name for themselves and attempt to go down in history as a monster instead of a nobody.
Guns are not a problem either, its the fact that they end up in the hands of stupid people that causes a problem for the rest of us as well. I personally own 23 guns, most of which I purchased without having to go through the FBI process to see if I am allowed to own them or not. Guns are easy to obtain and plentiful. If the gov tries to make it harder for us to obtain guns, that would mean that the honest people who want to protect themselves and family cant get them legally while the badguys will bypass the law entirely and obtain them illegally and in greater quantities. Guns dont kill people, bad people do.
Im not sure if my little rant will be taken badly or not, but this is just my opinion and I mean no disrespect to anyone.
