Hey everyone! Don't have a lot to report this time unfortunately. Writing progress has been rather slow recently; getting sick (I'm better now btw) ended up putting me behind in a lot of different aspects of my life, and I've been trying my best to get all of that squared and sorted so I can get back to my normal schedule.
As for where the new chapter sits: currently it's at around 4k words total, and I expect it to be just shy of the length of the previous part of the chapter. It's taking me a bit longer to do this one not just because of the delays, but also because I'm being perfectionist about it again. I won't be on the chapters going forward (at least until the end) but I need this part of the story to be perfect, so I'm taking my sweet time with it. That means taking long breaks if my brain so chooses.
Right now, the ideal time frame I have in mind is to have the next chapter done in the next couple of weeks. Whether I meet that or not remains to be seen, and given how life has been lately, I'm not going to promise anything. That's just a best case scenario. Who knows how long it'll be, but I don't imagine very long.
